It is heated instantaneously and generates heat for about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the outside temperature, emitting a temperature of about 40-45 degrees. To handle it continuously helps retain heat for a long time. Article reusable, simply place in a pan with hot water and let stand for 10 minutes minimum (the water must be in constant boilling). When the liquid inside is fluid, the hand warmer is ready to use (just press the disc when you are ready).
